When healing doesn't work
There are times in life that we are out of alignment. When we refuse to listen to our soul. The universe. That we become stuck in our ways. Beliefs. Patterns. That we allow fear to bind us.
When we seek expert knowledge to mask what we secretly know but refuse to except. Even ignoring the wisdom we have sought.
We blame the healers. The teachers. The experts. They were wrong. They don't know. Understand. We question their abilities. Curse them for tricking us. Because nothing has changed.
We feel betrayed by our bodies. They start to fail us. We are sick. Hurting. Suffering. And still we remain fixed. Refusing to listen. To acknowledge. To accept.
We receive messages daily on where we need to go. What we need to learn. These messages are not always pleasant, or easy or make sense of. So we stay put. Praying for a different message. An easier message. A more acceptable message. Moving farther and farther away from our truth. Our souls’ calling.
We fear change. We fear pain. We fear rejection. So we dig our heels in. Our soul’s scream louder. But we are deaf. So the universe pushes harder. We lose relationships. Jobs. Loved ones. Homes. Security. Heath. And we feel betrayed.
When we fall out of alignment, life gets harder. Nothing seems to fall into place. We feel anxious and depressed. Don’t confuse the anxiety of change moving towards your soul’s purpose, with the anxiety of being stuck, out of alignment and incongruent. Anxiety is normal. We fear change. We fear the unknown. This fear causes anxiety. Often times in life we need to lean into the fear to create positive and meaningful change.
Change is hard and we fight it. Funny thing is, the world around us is in a constant state of change. Maybe this is why we cling to control. Because we long to feel secure. However when we lean into change. When we listen to our soul, the universe, our calling. Life gets easier. We feel freer. We are able to move with the ebb and flow of the universe.
I get it. I’ve been there. Supported people where you are. When our soul’s calling feels too big. We question our abilities. Our talents. Our right even to pursue what is calling us. Self doubt takes over. We become stuck in our immobility. In our refusal to step up and lean in. It’s scary to think big, to be in the spotlight. But you choose this before you came here. Your soul had a dream, a purpose, lessons it wanted to learn. Each experience is just that an experience. A stepping stone in the bigger picture of you.
You can choose to stay where you are. You can choose to settle. You can choose to do nothing. To fight the current. To be a victim of life. Or you can choose to move with the flow. To listen to the guidance, the wisdom, the whispers. You get to choose what you will follow. Where you will go. Your life is an open book.
